Despite the plethora of emails i have received asking that i give my take on the demise of Cherished Keywording Websourced Interactive, i think i'll just let it go.
It has been nearly a year since myself, along with about 20 others, went into the cafeteria and were laid off. No severance. No explanation. Tom Dwyer never looked up from his Blackberry as he told people that had worked so hard, that they were being let go. The head of HR sat quietly and offered no insight. It definitely took some time to get over. Reports from last Friday's hijinks suggest that not much had changed.
In the months that followed we all watched a company comprised of some of the most talented individuals i have ever had the pleasure of working with falter and die. Scooter said it best:
"...it was the biggest waste of talent that I have ever been involved with ..."
Rather than rehash the same old complaints and harp on the mismanagement of what could have been a great company, i'd like to encourage everyone to go over to Casie's blog and contribute some of the fond memopries you have of MSI.
